The news is a few weeks old, but news is never old especially if it concerns your helmet. Word was out from the U.S Consumer Product Safety Commission late last year that these stylish looking 200 dollar helmets failed the testing standards laid out by them. ( Hush hush : Its made in China...) No, but seriously, I'm curious to know how the product failed the tests. Specialized is recalling about 3000 units for complete money back or a better replacement. Thankfully, no injuries have been reported but it may be an accident waiting to happen.
